W. Andrew Bruner is the Director of Research and Portfolio Manager at Equity Investment Corporation (EIC) in Atlanta, Georgia, where he is also a co-owner. He plays a critical role in leading research and managing equity portfolios, with primary responsibility for key investment decisions across the firm's strategies. Bruner is jointly responsible for managing major strategies such as All-Cap Value, Large-Cap Value, Mid-Cap Value, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) portfolios, serving both institutional and private clients.

His expertise centers on the value equity space, with a demonstrated track record in managing diversified portfolios across sectors including financials, healthcare, information technology, consumer staples, energy, and industrials. Under his tenure, EIC has maintained a strong performance record in both separate account management and as a sub-adviser for wrap account and unified managed account (UMA) programs.

Prior to joining EIC in 1999, Bruner held senior positions at KPMG in the US and Czech Republic, focusing on transaction services and cross-border advisory roles. He holds a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of the South.
