Ivo Ivanov

Ivo Ivanov, CFA, CIPM, MBA, is the Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice President at GeoWealth, where he oversees the full spectrum of portfolio management operations including the design and execution of strategic asset allocation models. Based in Stamford, CT, he leads the firm’s investment research program, focusing on data analytics, quantitative research, and the integration of investment solutions into the company’s platform.

Ivanov specializes in multi-asset and global portfolio strategy, with a particular emphasis on quantitative methods, risk management, and the development of sophisticated model portfolios across equities, fixed income, and alternative investments. He is noted for advancing GeoWealth’s capabilities in portfolio construction and delivering flexible, technology-driven investment solutions for advisory clients.

Prior to joining GeoWealth in 2011, Ivanov held senior investment positions including Director and Portfolio Manager at TD Ameritrade, and Vice President and Director of Research at Bear Stearns Asset Management / Netfolio. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, an MS in Mathematics and Statistics from Southern Illinois University, and a BS in Economics from Sofia, Bulgaria, underlining his strong expertise in both quantitative finance and applied investment management.
