Bruce Weininger

Bruce A. Weininger is Principal and Senior Wealth Advisor at Kovitz Investment Group in Chicago, where he specializes in comprehensive wealth management and financial planning for high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, including numerous Fortune 500 CEOs and CFOs. His primary responsibilities include advising on investment strategies, estate planning, tax optimization, and retirement planning for clients with complex financial needs, often working with business owners, senior corporate executives, and family office clients.

With more than three decades of experience, Bruce previously served as a partner at Deloitte, where he led the Midwest financial planning practice, and before that as a partner at The Ayco Company, L.P., focusing on holistic financial advisory services for senior executives and business owners. At Kovitz, he was instrumental in building out the firm's client service division and expanding the firm's assets under management, growing it from $400 million to over $7 billion.

Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) practitioner. He is recognized for his thought leadership, having spoken at national conferences, contributed to top financial industry publications, and served on the Journal of Financial Planning’s Advisory Board. His expertise covers portfolio management, tax strategy, estate planning, and private business wealth, with a particular focus on serving high net worth clients in the Midwest and nationwide.
