Christopher Quigley

Christopher Quigley, CFA, is a Senior Research Analyst at Kovitz Investment Group based in Orange County, California. In his current role, he conducts rigorous fundamental research and analysis, identifying new investment opportunities and maintaining industry, company, and macroeconomic models for the firm’s value-focused equity portfolios. His responsibilities include evaluating stocks across sectors and contributing to Kovitz’s asset management and advisory strategies, including The Prudent Speculator newsletter.

Quigley primarily focuses on value investing, leveraging in-depth analysis of equities with an emphasis on companies trading below intrinsic value. He covers a wide range of U.S. and global equity sectors, applying disciplined selection, patience, and diversification in his investment approach. His expertise includes sector analysis, industry modeling, and the identification of undervalued stocks aligned with Kovitz’s core value philosophy.

Before joining Kovitz in 2018 through its acquisition of AFAM Capital, Quigley spent nearly a decade at AFAM Capital as a Senior Research Analyst. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern California and is a CFA charterholder. Quigley is also a member of the CFA Society of Orange County, and is recognized for his contributions to value investing research and long-term wealth management strategies.
