Jonathan Shapiro

Jonathan A. Shapiro is Principal and Founder at Kovitz Investment Group Partners LLC, based in Chicago. Since co-founding Kovitz in 2003, he has led asset management services for high net worth individuals and institutions, serving as a core member of the investment team and helping guide the firm's application of value investing principles developed by Benjamin Graham, Warren Buffett, and Charlie Munger.

Shapiro specializes in equity and fixed income investments with a focus on value-oriented strategies and portfolio management. His expertise spans traditional sectors, targeting undervalued companies and long-term wealth preservation for diverse client needs, from individuals to institutions.

Jonathan's career includes roles as Portfolio Manager at Rothschild Investment Corporation and Analyst at Vector Securities, as well as extensive management consulting experience with KPMG and Towers Perrin.
