Rob Gee

Rob Gee, CFA, serves as VP and Portfolio Manager at GeoWealth in San Francisco, where he leads the management of the firm's internally managed unified managed accounts (UMAs) and model portfolios. His primary responsibilities include asset allocation, the development and implementation of capital markets assumptions, and spearheading the manager selection process to optimize portfolio performance. He also provides market commentary and collaborates with the investment committee on portfolio strategy, focusing on multi-asset portfolios, equities, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Rob specializes in the design and oversight of diversified portfolios, with deep expertise in asset allocation and manager research across U.S. and global equities, fixed income, and alternative asset classes. His career background includes key roles as Head of Investment Research and Portfolio Manager at Freedom Advisors, where he managed UMA models and helped drive investment strategy, as well as prior research roles at firms such as Alps Inc. and Jackson National Life. This breadth of experience provides him with a robust understanding of both active and passive investment management in institutional and advisory contexts.

Rob holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Denver, a BS in Accounting from the University of Colorado Denver, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder, and his significant contributions include leading investment strategy teams, developing capital market outlooks, and advancing best practices in model portfolio construction.
