John Yusnyu

John Yusnyu, known professionally as Dzhan Yusnyu, is a Senior Analyst at Horizon Investments, LLC, based in Charlotte, NC. In his current role, he is responsible for supporting portfolio implementation decisions across Horizon’s strategies, conducting macroeconomic research, and evaluating various investment products and methods to enhance the firm's execution of economic and market views. His work directly advances the firm’s goals-based investment approach, contributing to asset allocation and risk mitigation decisions across both public and private market strategies.

Yusnyu’s investment focus spans macroeconomic research and portfolio construction within diverse asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternate strategies. He plays an integral part in Horizon’s Portfolio Management Group, helping analyze market conditions and support the tactical management of multi-asset portfolios in line with global macroeconomic trends and client objectives.

John Yusnyu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has additional academic experience from King's College London and Pine View School. Since joining Horizon Investments as an analyst in 2020, and later advancing to Senior Analyst, he has contributed meaningfully during periods of market volatility, earning recognition for his initiative and professional growth within the investment management industry.
