Timothy Ng

Timothy Ng is Partner and Head of Private Markets, as well as Group Head of Entrepreneurial & Corporate Advisory at Intellectus Partners, LLC in San Francisco. In this role, he leads advisory services tailored for entrepreneurs and management teams of client companies, focusing on private market investments and strategic corporate development. His responsibilities include lifecycle advisory, leveraging an extensive network, and stewarding investment and exit strategies in collaboration with portfolio companies.

Mr. Ng's investment expertise spans technology, private equity, and venture capital, with a particular emphasis on late-stage financings and exit strategies for technology-enabled companies. He has notable experience in sectors such as WiFi IoT semiconductors (via Palma Ceia SemiDesign), enterprise software, aviation, and energy, having served as operating partner, strategic advisor, and interim CFO for various high-growth companies and funds. He is recognized for his experience overseeing M&A transactions and structured financings, including over 90 deals totaling more than $100 billion in aggregate value.

Prior to joining Intellectus, Timothy Ng held leadership roles including Co-Founder & CFO at Palma Ceia SemiDesign and Chief Operating Officer at SMRT Systems. He spent more than two decades in investment banking as Managing Director for technology M&A at Deutsche Bank, Cowen & Co., and Credit Suisse Technology Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Hiller Aviation Museum.
