Lars Michalak

Lars Michalak is a seasoned investment professional based in Berlin, currently serving as Managing Partner at LP Capital Management GmbH (also known as Liquid Partners). He leads the firm’s focus on secondary direct investments in growth companies, primarily targeting minority stakes in proven, internationally scalable digital businesses. Lars specializes in liquidity solutions designed for founders, early investors, and growth-stage management teams, facilitating both primary and secondary capital transactions in the technology sector.

Over his career, Lars has executed and negotiated more than 100 investments and developed deep expertise in private equity, venture capital, and fund management. Prior to his current role, he was Geschäftsführer at VTV visions to value GmbH, where he focused on enhancing venture capital returns, and previously held responsibilities in investment evaluation and management as an Investment Professional and Prokurist at IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH. Across these positions, his main sector experience has been with asset-light, high-growth digital companies in Germany and across Europe, with significant contributions to secondary market transactions and liquidity event structuring.

Lars holds a Diplom Betriebswirt (equivalent to a Bachelor of Business Administration) in Business Administration from Technische Universität Berlin.
