Joe Carlo, CFP®, is an Associate Portfolio Manager at Johnson Investment Counsel in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he has served since 2018. In his current position, he works as part of the firm's wealth management team, delivering investment management, retirement planning, and comprehensive financial strategies for individual and family clients. His responsibilities include portfolio construction and asset allocation, with a focus on public equities, fixed income, and tailored wealth planning within the firm's integrated advisory approach.

Prior to joining Johnson Investment Counsel, Joe was Business Manager at concert:nova and a Development Associate at the Cincinnati Opera, roles that honed his operational and analytical skills in resource management and strategic planning. Joe holds an MS in Finance and Financial Management Services and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, along with an MA in Arts Administration from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Ohio University.
