Peter Capouch

Peter Capouch, CFA, is Chief Operating Officer, Portfolio Manager, and Partner at Next Century Growth Investors LLC in Minneapolis, MN. He joined the firm in 2003 and serves as one of the portfolio managers on all strategies, becoming a partner in 2008 and advancing to COO in 2021. His primary responsibilities include portfolio management, investment analysis, and firm operations across an array of growth equity strategies.

At Next Century Growth Investors, Peter focuses on identifying and investing in high-growth U.S. companies, primarily within the micro-cap, small-cap, SMID-cap, and large-cap growth equity sectors. His approach emphasizes bottom-up fundamental research to uncover the fastest-growing and highest-quality firms, targeting those with large addressable markets, strong competitive dynamics, and sustainable long-term growth characteristics.

Before joining Next Century Growth, Peter worked as an analyst at State Street Global Advisors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Harvard University, where he served as captain of the men’s ice hockey team. Peter is recognized for his expertise in growth equity investing and his contributions to developing firm-wide strategies focused on compounding portfolio value by investing in tomorrow’s leading companies.
