Albert Chiang

Albert Chiang is a partner at Octahedron Capital Management L.P., based in San Francisco, California. As a key member of the firm, he is responsible for identifying and managing investments, helping lead Octahedron’s focus on growth-stage public and private technology companies. His investment coverage spans sectors such as software, fintech, e-commerce, and internet platforms, with a particular emphasis on companies driving innovation through AI and automation.

Prior to joining Octahedron Capital, Albert brings over 15 years of investment experience across venture capital and private equity. He previously held senior roles including Managing Director in private equity at Sobrato Capital and Partner at Bay Hills Capital, where he specialized in sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio construction for emerging growth funds and direct investments. Albert also has direct investing experience from FTV Capital and Catterton Partners, covering early-stage and growth investments in technology and consumer sectors.

Albert holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is recognized for his expertise in technology investing and fund management, and has contributed to building high-performing investment portfolios across institutional and family office platforms. He remains active in industry advisory and investment committees, leveraging his extensive network to uncover and develop leading technology assets.
