Skip McGregor

Skip McGregor is a Partner at Operose Advisors in Milwaukee, WI, where he serves as the primary investment advisor on several key client relationships. He is responsible for business development, client service, and providing comprehensive advice regarding planning, execution, and feedback of investment programs, including investment policy development, asset class assessment, and portfolio management.

Skip's investment advisory focus spans institutional and private clients, with particular expertise in asset management across traditional and alternative investments. He played a lead role in business development for Greenhouse Funds, a private investment management company, while at Robert W. Baird, and previously covered asset management firms on the West Coast in Baird's Institutional Sales team. His current scope at Operose includes managing portfolios tailored to diverse client needs, with a strong emphasis on alternative and bespoke investment strategies.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Skip joined Operose Advisors in 2020 after more than two decades as Managing Director at Baird. He holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and sits on the Board of Directors of Milwaukee Winter Club and Rocketship Public Schools, reflecting significant community engagement in addition to his investment leadership.
