Dominic Marshall

Dominic Marshall, CFA, is Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager at Pacific Ridge Capital Partners, LLC, based in Clackamas, OR. As a founding partner and head of investment strategy, he leads the firm's overall research process and is the sole Senior Portfolio Manager for both the Micro Cap Value and Small Cap Value strategies. His role centers on fundamental research, bottom-up stock selection, and disciplined portfolio management focused on small- and micro-cap U.S. equities, following a contrarian value investment philosophy.

Dominic’s sector expertise covers undervalued companies with strong long-term operating prospects primarily within the small- and micro-cap segment of the U.S. equity market. His long-term investment approach emphasizes patience, rigorous analysis, and low portfolio turnover, typically holding 50–80 stocks across diverse industries that align with the team’s value-oriented mandate.

Prior to co-founding Pacific Ridge Capital, Dominic was President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Scott Creek Capital Management, and previously held portfolio management and analyst roles at Wells Capital Management, Benson Associates, and The Red Chip Review. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. With over three decades in the industry (since 1993), Dominic is recognized for delivering consistent results and strengthening Pacific Ridge’s reputation for long-term, client-aligned value investing.
