Dominic Knauf

Dominic Knauf is the Managing Partner at Pure Financial Advisors, Inc., where he serves as a core member of the executive team. Based in Minneapolis, he leads initiatives centered on expanding the advisor team, opening new geographies, executing corporate development strategies, and driving firmwide integration. Knauf is a key architect behind the firm's accelerated growth, including both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, helping Pure Financial Advisors surpass $7 billion in assets under management as of late 2024.

With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Knauf specializes in the independent, fee-only registered investment advisor (RIA) sector. His expertise includes developing advisor talent, leading team growth, and overseeing mergers and acquisitions. At NorthRock Partners, he was instrumental in scaling the firm from $700 million to $3.3 billion in assets under management, establishing capital partnerships, and implementing an M&A strategy focused on high-net-worth and institutional client segments.

Knauf holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Mary. He has also held leadership positions at Ameriprise and Thrivent, with a proven track record in financial planning, advisor development, and next-generation leadership. Outside of his professional work, Knauf serves as a board member for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Minnesota Chapter, reflecting his commitment to advancing medical research and patient advocacy.
