Andy Lufkin

Andy Lufkin is currently a Research Analyst at Select Equity Group, L.P., based in Seattle, WA, where he is responsible for fundamental equity research supporting the firm’s long-only and long/short investment strategies. Select Equity Group manages over $30 billion in assets, primarily focusing on identifying high-quality public companies with strong growth prospects and durable competitive advantages through independent, in-depth research.

Prior to his current role, Andy served as CFO and Senior Managing Director at Delafield Hambrecht, Inc. for nearly 17 years, and held the position of Managing Director at WR Hambrecht + Co before that. His extensive experience in leadership, financial management, and equity research spans multiple decades, highlighting his expertise across various financial services functions.

Andy holds a degree from Harvard Business School and is also an alumnus of Colby College. While his recent work at Select Equity Group centers on public equities across sectors with rigorous research standards, his earlier executive roles provide a foundation in investment banking, capital markets, and operational finance. This diverse background positions him as a skilled analyst with broad sector exposure in growth-focused equity markets.
