Larry Chiarello

Larry Chiarello is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at SkyView Investment Advisors, LLC, where he also serves as Managing Director and focuses on investments and research. Since co-founding the firm in 2010, he has helped design and manage high-quality, multi-asset solutions for institutions, family offices, and wealth managers, covering a broad spectrum of asset classes including traditional investments, alternative strategies, hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital.

Chiarello specializes in manager research, portfolio and risk management, and asset allocation across both public and private markets. His career includes significant experience in the alternative investment sector, with particular emphasis on hedge funds and manager due diligence. At SkyView and previously at Riverview Alternative Investment Advisors, he has built networks and conducted research into hundreds of asset managers globally, helping clients identify and access best-in-class strategies and sources of risk-adjusted returns.

Before SkyView, Chiarello was a Partner at Riverview Alternative Investment Advisors and previously a Director at Soros Fund Management, where he led the performance and risk analytics group and oversaw more than $4 billion in satellite assets. He began his career at Drexel Burnham in high yield and convertible bonds. Larry Chiarello holds an MBA in Finance and Investments from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Queens College, and is recognized for his expertise in risk management, fund manager selection, and building institutional-quality investment programs.
