Jay Hill

Jay Hill, CFA, is Managing Director, senior analyst, and a member of both the Investment and Management Committees at Tweedy, Browne, a distinguished value-focused investment firm based in New York. Since joining the firm in 2003, he has been instrumental in its portfolio management and research efforts, with a particular emphasis on US equities and value investing in global public markets.

Hill’s responsibilities include identifying value-driven equity investment opportunities, conducting rigorous risk assessments, and contributing to the firm’s disciplined investment process. His primary sector focus is on US-listed companies, though his global perspective extends to evaluating international businesses through fundamental research and the application of quantitative screening frameworks.

Earlier in his career, Hill held analyst roles at Banc of America Securities, Credit Lyonnais Securities (USA), and Providence Capital.
