Chris Sargent

Chris Sargent serves as a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at Bradley, Foster & Sargent, Inc. (BFS) in Portland, ME, an employee-owned investment advisory firm known for customized portfolio management for individuals and institutions. In his current role since May 2020, Sargent is responsible for conducting investment research, supporting portfolio construction, and advising on client accounts within the firm’s robust, client-centric asset management platform.

Sargent’s investment research emphasizes equity markets, with a focus on fundamental company analysis and sector evaluation to inform stock selection and asset allocation strategies. At BFS, his responsibilities include monitoring industry trends and contributing to the firm’s long-term investment decisions, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
