Michele Matzinger

Michele Lynch Matzinger is a Portfolio Manager and Investment Committee Member at Bradley, Foster & Sargent, Inc. (BFS), based in Hartford, Connecticut. In her current role since 2021, she is responsible for equity portfolio management and oversight, serving private clients, families, non-profits, and institutional investors, with a focus on delivering tailored investment strategies in the equities market.

Prior to her tenure at BFS, Michele held senior leadership positions at New England Asset Management, Inc. (NEAM), including Head of Equity Investments and Co-Head of Equity, where she led equity research and portfolio management for insurance and institutional clients, specializing in financials and consumer services sectors. Her nearly three decades in investment management have been distinguished by expertise in public equity selection, asset allocation, and customized portfolio construction for diverse client needs.

Michele Matzinger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy and Economics from Brown University and is an alumna of The Hotchkiss School. She is recognized for her proficiency in equity investing, commitment to fiduciary standards, and significant contributions to both client portfolios and equity research leadership in the investment industry.
