Bin Xiao

Bin Xiao, CFA, serves as a Portfolio Manager at Polaris Capital Management, LLC, based in Boston/Cambridge, MA. He joined the firm as an Analyst in 2006, rose to Assistant Portfolio Manager in 2012, became an LLC member in 2013, and was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2021. His core responsibilities include conducting fundamental analysis of global equity opportunities, contributing to portfolio strategy, and collaborating on all aspects of investment decision-making as a generalist covering multiple sectors and markets.

Xiao is recognized as a generalist equity investor, leveraging a bottom-up, unconstrained value-oriented approach. He plays a key role in identifying undervalued companies worldwide, focusing on free cash flow metrics across industries, and is actively involved in research and portfolio construction for international, domestic, and global equity portfolios.
