Eric Delbridge

Eric Delbridge, MD, serves as General Partner at Sofinnova Investments, where he leads the development of the firm's Sofinnova BioEquities strategy. In this role, he is primarily responsible for public equity investments, focusing on innovative therapeutics companies in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, with an emphasis on global opportunities and advanced drug development.

Prior to his current position, Dr. Delbridge was Portfolio Manager at Sofinnova Ventures and previously worked at Balyasny Asset Management, building significant expertise in health care public equities. Notably, his investment work centers on mid- to late-stage therapeutic companies, including those targeting orphan diseases and specialty pharmaceuticals, and he manages substantial public equity positions in leading biotech firms.

Dr. Delbridge holds an M.D. from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and an MBA in Health Care Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Yale University. His combined medical and business background underpins his distinct expertise in identifying value and growth potential within the global biopharmaceutical landscape.
