Angel Xu

Angel Xu is a Global Research Associate at ARGA Investment Management, LP, based in Cambridge, MA. In this role, she supports the firm’s global equity research process, contributing investment analysis and supporting portfolio management with a focus on international and emerging market equities. Her work involves fundamental company research, financial modeling, and monitoring key developments in assigned markets.

Before joining ARGA, Angel worked as a Research Assistant at the MIT Aggregate Confusion Project, where she analyzed ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data quality issues. She also gained private equity experience as a Summer Associate at Coltala Holdings, developing due diligence and market analysis skills. Her background spans both academic research and hands-on experience in investment and corporate settings, with a demonstrated capacity for cross-functional financial analysis.

Angel holds a Master of Finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, and Economics from Brandeis University. Her expertise encompasses quantitative and fundamental analytics, with a particular interest in international equities, ESG research, and emerging market strategies.
