Courtney Davidson

Courtney Owens Davidson is an Investment Analyst and member of the Investment Committee at Sustainable Growth Advisers, LP (SGA), based in New York, NY. In her current role, she conducts deep fundamental equity research and contributes to the firm’s portfolios, which focus on identifying a select set of high-quality global businesses offering predictable, long-term sustainable growth. Her responsibilities include evaluating companies for their revenue durability, financial strength, and sustainable competitive advantages, with a strong integration of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) considerations into the research process.

Before joining SGA full-time in 2022, Courtney completed an internship with the firm and previously served as an Equity Research Associate at William Blair from 2016 to 2021. At William Blair, she developed expertise in equity research and financial analysis, providing detailed industry and company evaluations to support investment decisions.

Courtney holds an MBA from the Value Investing Program at Columbia Business School and a Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her investment coverage as a global generalist spans U.S. and international equities, with a focus on growth-oriented listed companies that demonstrate long-term compounding potential, high returns on capital, and strong stewardship.
