Hrishikesh Gupta

Hrishikesh (HK) Gupta is a Principal, Analyst, and Portfolio Manager at Sustainable Growth Advisers, LP (SGA), based in New York, NY. At SGA, he leads investment research and co-manages global growth equity portfolios, including U.S., global, emerging markets, and international strategies, with a focus on identifying companies with sustainable long-term growth potential.

Gupta's investment coverage centers on large cap growth equities, global growth strategies, and emerging markets, with an emphasis on integrating ESG (environmental, social, and governance) factors into the investment process for risk assessment and value creation. He plays a key role as co-Portfolio Manager for SGA’s Global, Global Focused, U.S., U.S. Focused, and Emerging Markets portfolios, managing assets across institutional and sub-advised funds.

Prior to joining SGA in 2014, Gupta worked as an Investment Analyst at MDR Capital and Brenko Studio, gaining broad exposure to fundamental equity analysis. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, an MBA from both New York University and London Business School, and an MS in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego.
