Sanjai Bhonsle

Sanjai Bhonsle is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at ArrowMark Partners, where he co-heads the firm's leveraged finance activities, including managing CLO funds and leveraged loan investments. Based in New York, he is responsible for portfolio strategy and investment selection, with a central focus on alternative and multi-sector credit opportunities.

His expertise lies in collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), leveraged loans, and specialized segments of public and private credit, targeting less efficient markets for differentiated returns. He has a strong track record in structuring and managing complex credit products, drawing on ArrowMark’s research-driven approach and emphasis on niche fixed-income investments, including distressed debt, asset-backed securities, and select commercial real estate finance transactions.

Before joining ArrowMark in 2012, Bhonsle held senior roles as Principal at MB Consulting Partners and Managing Director at The Blackstone Group, building a broad foundation in credit investing and advisory. He holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Michigan State University (Eli Broad College of Business) and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which underpins his analytical and quantitative strengths in managing sophisticated credit strategies.
