David Falk

David Falk is a Portfolio Manager at Shelton Capital Management, based in New York, NY. He is responsible for managing fixed income and alternative credit strategies, including the Shelton Tactical Credit Fund, with a particular focus on sectors such as municipal bonds, high yield and investment grade corporate bonds, and preferred securities.

With over 30 years of experience in the investment industry, David Falk has built his career at notable institutions such as Cedar Ridge Partners, Bear Stearns, and Lazard Freres, primarily concentrating on the municipal securities market and broader credit opportunities. Before joining Shelton Capital Management in 2019 through its acquisition of Cedar Ridge Partners, Falk played a significant role in managing diversified credit and long/short portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and family offices.

Falk holds a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. from Northwestern University. He is recognized for his expertise in identifying undervalued, mispriced, and complex securities, as well as generating total returns through strategic sector allocation and security selection across the US credit markets.
