Bruce Kahn

Bruce Kahn is the Lead Portfolio Manager at Shelton Capital Management, where he focuses on sustainable and global equity portfolios with a particular emphasis on agribusiness, clean technology, and environmental sustainability. In this role, he is responsible for integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into investment decision-making and developing strategies that address both risk and long-term value creation in equity markets.

With over 25 years of experience in environmental and investment research, Dr. Kahn’s career spans senior positions at firms such as Deutsche Bank Asset Management and Smith Barney, where he led sustainable and thematic investment initiatives covering sectors including agriculture, water, clean tech, and real assets. He has been recognized for his expertise in sustainable investing and has contributed to the evolution of ESG and SRI strategies for high-net-worth, institutional, and foundation clients.

Dr. Kahn holds a Ph.D. in Land Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an M.S. in Fisheries and Allied Aquacultures from Auburn University, and a B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Connecticut. He is actively involved with several sustainability-focused organizations and serves on multiple boards, reflecting his commitment to advancing environmental stewardship and sustainable finance within the investment industry.
