Katy Fang

Katy Fang is a fundamental senior research analyst at Causeway Capital Management LLC, based in Shanghai, China. In her current role, she is responsible for the coverage of companies in the consumer and materials sectors, with a particular focus on Chinese equities. She joined Causeway in 2020 and, from January 2021 to May 2025, worked for Causeway's wholly foreign-owned Shanghai subsidiary, focusing on company research within the China region.

Prior to joining Causeway, Ms. Fang was a senior research associate at Citi in Hong Kong, where she covered the financial sectors in Hong Kong and Taiwan. She also completed the rotational analyst program at JPMorgan Asset Management in Hong Kong, gaining experience in strategy, business development, and relationship management. She interned at Causeway in 2019, focusing on the healthcare industries in China and the US.

Ms. Fang holds a BS in quantitative finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a CFA charterholder and is recognized for her research expertise in Asian consumer, materials, and healthcare sectors, as well as her contributions to investment analysis in Greater China.
