Bruce Garrison

Bruce Garrison is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Chilton Capital Management LLC in Houston, Texas, where he leads the firm's REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) strategy and serves on the Investment Policy Committee. His work is focused specifically on listed equity REITs and real estate securities, managing portfolios for both institutions and high-net-worth individuals. He plays a key role in strategy development and the oversight of investment research centered on public real estate equities.

With a career starting in 1972 at Morgan Guaranty Trust Co., Bruce has held senior positions including Managing Director at Kidder Peabody & Co. and Paine Webber (now UBS), and Director in the Investments Group at Salient Partners prior to joining Chilton in 2011. He has participated in over $8 billion of financings, primarily for equity REITs, and is recognized as a founder of the Chilton REIT investment strategy, underpinning his reputation in dedicated real estate investment management.

Bruce holds both a BBA and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and is a CFA charter holder. He was voted Institutional Investor All American for REIT Research in 1993 and 1994, and won the Realty Stock Review All-Star Analyst Award for three consecutive years.
