Adam Mielnik

Adam Mielnik is a Senior Research Analyst at First Eagle Investment Management in New York, where he focuses on U.S. small cap equities as part of the firm’s dedicated Small Cap team. In this role, he is responsible for in-depth fundamental research, idea generation, and security selection, applying a disciplined value-oriented investment philosophy with specific attention to stocks trading at a discount to intrinsic value, including considerations of companies in sectors such as the aerospace supply chain and other under-researched segments of the small cap market.

Prior to joining First Eagle in April 2021, Adam served as a Senior Analyst for the Small Cap Opportunistic Value strategy at Royce Investment Partners, where he spent over six years developing expertise in small cap value investing. His earlier experience includes progressively senior analyst positions within Royce, providing him with a foundation in bottom-up company analysis and risk management pertaining to small capitalization businesses.

Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Fordham University with minors in Business Administration and Sustainable Business, and he has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. His research process is notable for its formal integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, and he is recognized for his rigorous due diligence and contributions to diversified, catalyst-driven small cap portfolio strategies.
