Aram Green

Aram Green is a Portfolio Manager at ClearBridge Investments, based in New York, with over 24 years of investment industry experience. He manages the ClearBridge Select strategy as well as several growth-oriented equity portfolios, including small-cap, mid-cap, and SMID-cap growth mandates, leveraging his deep expertise across the U.S. equity landscape.

Green specializes in identifying high-growth opportunities, particularly within information technology, media, telecommunications, and consumer discretionary sectors. His investment philosophy emphasizes finding early-stage, rapidly disruptive companies—often in the $1–5 billion market cap range—that are positioned for significant expansion, as well as "evolving opportunities" in out-of-favor stocks with turnaround potential. He maintains an unconstrained approach, participating up and down the market cap spectrum, and is recognized for delivering top-ranked performance, as evidenced by his management of the No. 1 mid-cap fund over recent years.

Earlier in his career, Green was an Equity Analyst at Hygrove Partners and co-founded iCollege, a software company acquired by Blackboard, before joining ClearBridge as a Research Analyst in 2006, initially covering IT, media, and telecom. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Union College and is noted for his ability to spot transformational industry trends and add value through continuous portfolio innovation.
