Erica Furfaro

Erica Furfaro is a Portfolio Manager at ClearBridge Investments in New York, managing the All Cap Growth and Large Cap Growth strategies. With over 20 years of investment industry experience, she currently leads portfolio construction and research efforts with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on structural growth trends, particularly within the technology and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors. She plays a pivotal role in rebalancing strategies to harness leading-edge opportunities in areas such as infrastructure software and emerging AI applications, as well as overseeing exposures in traditional growth industries.

Before becoming Portfolio Manager in 2024, Erica served as a Director and Portfolio Analyst for ClearBridge’s Large Cap Growth franchise, supporting key decision-making for multi-billion-dollar strategies. Earlier, she was the firm’s Director and Sector Analyst specializing in the internet and media sectors—a natural progression from her prior roles as Analyst/Sector Head for technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) at Millennium Partners and York Capital Management, and as a private equity analyst at The Carlyle Group.

Erica holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in economics and government from Cornell University. She is recognized for her forward-thinking investment research in technology and communications, and her work is frequently spotlighted in industry webinars and ClearBridge’s market commentaries addressing topics such as generative AI, market volatility, and portfolio risk management.
