Brian Angerame

Brian Angerame is a Portfolio Manager at ClearBridge Investments in New York, where he leads the Mid Cap, Mid Cap Growth, and SMID Cap Growth strategies. With over 31 years of investment industry experience, he is recognized for his analytical rigor and leadership in managing equity portfolios focused on mid-sized U.S. companies.

He specializes in the consumer discretionary and consumer staples sectors, and his portfolio responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities within these areas as well as health care and cyclical sectors relevant to mid- and SMID-cap equities. Brian has been a Portfolio Manager at ClearBridge since 2005, after joining the firm in 2000 as a Research Analyst covering the consumer sectors. Prior to ClearBridge, he was an Analyst and Assistant Portfolio Manager at Prudential Investments, managing the Prudential Real Estate Securities Fund.

Brian holds a B.A. in government from Dartmouth College, lending a strong analytical and policy-oriented foundation to his investment process.
