Ben Pliskin

Ben Pliskin, CFA, is an Analyst at First Pacific Advisors (FPA), where he joined in 2024 and contributes to equity and multi-asset research initiatives. In his current role, Ben is responsible for conducting deep fundamental analysis and supporting portfolio managers with investment recommendations across global equities and related asset classes.

Before joining FPA, Ben spent eight years as an Analyst at Cascade Asset Management Company, the investment office for Bill Gates and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where he specialized in public equities and alternative asset strategies. Earlier in his career, he gained experience at Barnes Asset Management LLC and began his investment journey at J.P. Morgan, developing expertise in both traditional and alternative investments.

Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with honors from Seattle Pacific University, where he was also a member of the Varsity Men’s Soccer team. He is recognized as a CFA® Charterholder and is noted for his rigorous research approach and contributions to long-term fundamental value investing in global equity markets, with a particular focus on high-conviction, quality investments.
