Sojung Park

Sojung Park is a Portfolio Manager and Senior Research Analyst at Matthews International Capital Management LLC (Matthews Asia), where she co-manages key strategies including the Matthews Korea Active ETF, Matthews Asia Dividend Fund, and the Matthews Asia Dividend Active ETF. She specializes in equity investments with a focus on Asian markets, particularly Korean equities and Asian dividend strategies, and also co-manages emerging markets strategies.

Prior to her current role, Sojung Park advanced through research roles at Matthews Asia, serving as Research Analyst and then Senior Research Analyst since joining the firm in 2016. Her earlier experience includes working as an Equity Research Analyst at HSBC Securities covering Korean financial services mid-cap companies and as an Equity Research Associate at E*Trade Securities.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Accounting, Economics, and Strategic Management. Her academic background additionally includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Seoul National University and international studies in finance at the European Business School. She is recognized for her expertise in Asian equity markets, particularly Korea, and contributes significantly to Matthews Asia's well-regarded research and investment process.
