Xiaobin Xu, PhD, MBA, is an experienced investment professional specializing in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors. He served as a Biotech/Healthcare Investment Analyst at Matthews Asia (Matthews International Capital Management LLC) from January 2022 to December 2023, where he was responsible for authoring investment research reports, initiating portfolio positions, and conducting in-depth financial modeling focused on healthcare and biotech equities, particularly in Asian and global markets.

Previously, Dr. Xu was a Senior Principal Scientist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where he led teams in drug development and regulatory submissions and contributed to the advancement of multiple drug candidates toward market approval.
