Candace Weir

Candace King Weir is President and Chief Investment Officer at Paradigm Capital Management, Inc., based in Albany, NY. She oversees the firm’s investment strategy and co-manages the Small-Cap, SMid-Cap, Micro-Cap, and Personal Wealth portfolios, focusing on uncovering value in under-researched segments of the equity market.

Ms. Weir is recognized for her longstanding expertise in small-cap equities, with particular emphasis on technology—including semiconductors and capital equipment—and other bottom-up sectors where fundamental research and direct engagement with management teams drive investment decisions.
