Emma Harper

Emma Harper is Vice President, Institutional Research and Client Relations at Sage Advisory in Austin, Texas. In her current role, she leads research initiatives supporting responsible and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing, and is actively involved in ESG risk management and client relations for institutional investors. Her work centers on providing investment solutions that integrate sustainability principles across various public market asset classes, including fixed income and multi-asset strategies.

Prior to her current position, Emma served as Vice President and Senior Research Analyst at Sage, focusing on ESG research, after joining the firm as a Responsible Investing Research Analyst. She began her career in retail management and private wealth management before moving into institutional investment roles. At Sage, she has developed expertise in evaluating ESG risks and opportunities, collaborating across investment teams to enhance sustainable investing offerings.

Emma holds an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. in Apparel and Textiles from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA), holds the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential, and has earned the CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing. Her achievements include advancing Sage Advisory’s responsible investment research, guiding sustainable portfolio construction, and supporting client engagement around responsible investing best practices.
