Geoff Gerber

Geoffrey (Geoff) Gerber is the President and Chief Investment Officer of TWIN Capital Management Inc., which he founded in 1990. In his current role, he oversees the firm's entire quantitative investment process, manages general firm operations, and leads its institutional client relationships, with a focus on delivering systematic, model-driven investment solutions for public pension funds, corporations, foundations, and Taft-Hartley plans.

Gerber specializes in quantitative U.S. equity strategies, including long/short market-neutral, active equity, enhanced index, and reduced-volatility dividend portfolios, utilizing custom research techniques such as his firm's proprietary "Fundamental Tilt®" approach. He is recognized in the industry for his expertise in equity style allocation, market neutral investing, and dynamic risk management; his thought leadership is reflected in multiple academic and industry publications and as a faculty member for the Wharton Executive Education Program on investment strategies.

Prior to founding TWIN, Gerber held senior portfolio management roles at Prudential Insurance and Mellon Equity Associates. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Gerber serves on investment committees of major foundations and is an editorial board member of the Journal of Investment Consulting, underscoring his contributions to both practitioner and academic circles in quantitative equity investing.
