Sam Gerber

Sam Gerber is Vice President and Portfolio Manager at TWIN Capital Management Inc., based in Pittsburgh, PA. In his current role, he co-manages the firm's suite of U.S. equity portfolios, oversees client service, and supports the distribution of TWIN’s strategies to a diverse institutional client base spanning public funds, corporate clients, endowments, and Taft-Hartley plans. Gerber is instrumental in implementing TWIN’s quantitative, risk-managed investment approach and ensuring the firm’s disciplined, systematic philosophy drives portfolio performance.

Sam specializes in U.S. equities, with particular expertise in quantitative strategies, reduced-volatility, enhanced index, and dividend-focused portfolios, such as the TWIN Dividend Select and Enhanced Equity strategies. He plays a key role in designing and managing equity portfolios that seek to balance value and risk while addressing the distinct needs of institutional investors.

Before joining TWIN in 2018, Sam Gerber held Corporate Development roles at Polyconcept and Consol Energy, as well as institutional equity sales and trading experience at FBR Capital Markets. He is active in the Pittsburgh community, serving on finance committees for the Friendship Circle of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Jewish Federation. His background reflects a blend of strategic corporate development, institutional trading, and client-focused portfolio management backed by quantitative investment expertise.
