Adriana Todaro

Adriana Sierra Todaro is a Multi-Asset Trader at Virtus Investment Partners in New York, specializing in trading global equities, convertible bonds, fixed income instruments, foreign exchange (FX), and futures. In this role since May 2023, she is responsible for executing trades across multiple asset classes and managing relationships with over 30 brokers, ensuring effective trade execution and seamless market insight integration. Her expertise extends to using technology and automation, such as Bloomberg, VBA, and Python, to streamline trading operations and collaborate with systematic and development teams on strategy optimization projects.

Before joining Virtus, Adriana gained experience as a Discretionary Macro and Fixed Income intern at Schonfeld, and served as a risk management specialist at Banco de la República in Colombia. Her background demonstrates a strong foundation in both discretionary trading environments and risk management for financial markets, with an emphasis on macroeconomic factors and fixed income products.

Adriana holds a Master of Engineering in Financial Technology from Duke University, complemented by training in machine learning, fixed income operations, and financial engineering. She is also a CFA Level III candidate.
