Devangi Thakkar is Vice President, Investment Performance and Reporting Manager at Sentinel Trust Company, LBA in Houston, TX, where she leads the firm’s fund and client investment performance reporting. In this capacity, she partners closely with the Accounting and Operations teams, spearheading performance-focused projects and ensuring comprehensive, consolidated reporting for Sentinel Trust’s affluent, multi-generational family clients.

Thakkar brings nearly two decades of experience in audit, fund accounting, valuations, and investment performance analysis, with previous roles including Senior Performance Analyst at a global, multinational investment management company. Her expertise spans a range of asset classes, including private investments, marketable securities, and family business interests, with particular strength in delivering financial insights to support succession planning, tax, and legacy strategies for high net worth families.

She holds a Global MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Houston-Victoria and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation from the University of Mumbai, and holds the CPA and CFA® designations. Thakkar is recognized for her depth of technical proficiency in audit, tax, financial modeling, and complex investment reporting, and continues to contribute actively to the professional and broader community through her volunteer work and leadership at Sentinel Trust.
