Ingrid Tang

Ingrid Y. Tang is Vice President and Portfolio Manager–Private Assets at Sentinel Trust Company, LBA in Houston, Texas. In this role, she leads portfolio design, construction, due diligence, and ongoing performance monitoring of global private equity funds, with particular responsibility for fund selection and oversight in private equity, venture capital, and private real estate sectors. Her expertise focuses on sourcing and managing global private investment strategies for highly diversified client portfolios, leveraging a fund-of-funds approach.

Prior to joining Sentinel Trust, Ingrid served as Senior Associate and Investment Committee Member at Avalon Advisors, where she launched and managed external manager and co-investment programs across public and private assets, helping build eight fund-of-fund portfolios totaling over $500 million in AUM. She previously held investment roles at TIAA Endowments, New 2nd Capital Private Equity Fund, Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association, and Grosvenor Capital Management, where she developed expertise in alternative assets including private equity, private real estate, hedge funds, and macro and commodity strategies.

Ingrid holds an MBA in Investment Management from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. She is a CFA charterholder and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). She is active in professional organizations and has contributed to building sophisticated multi-asset portfolios and external manager programs, focusing her career on top-tier private market investment strategies.
