Haoshi Cheng is a Senior Analyst at Aristeia Capital LLC in New York, where he leads research and analysis within the firm's core focus on corporate credit markets. In this capacity, he leverages extensive experience in public credit instruments and direct lending to identify and evaluate investment opportunities, supporting the firm's absolute return strategies.

Cheng specializes in sectors including retail, media, business services, and building products, utilizing his background in these areas to inform relative value credit investment decisions. At Aristeia, he works closely with the trading and investment teams, bringing sector-specific insights and rigorous quantitative analysis to the portfolio management process.

Before joining Aristeia Capital, Cheng was a Senior Associate at Guggenheim Partners, where he also focused on credit and direct lending across similar sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and attended Wuhan University, further strengthening his quantitative and financial engineering expertise.
