Colin Bettison

Colin Bettison is a Partner at Braidwell, a New York-based investment firm focused on providing flexible capital solutions across the healthcare sector. At Braidwell, he holds a senior leadership role, serving as both Head of Finance & Operations and an authorized signatory, where he oversees operational, financial, and investment functions with an emphasis on growth-stage and late-stage healthcare-related investments across both public and private markets.

Prior to joining Braidwell in 2022, Bettison had a distinguished tenure at Man Group, one of the world’s largest alternative investment management firms. He served as Head of Operations for Man Americas from 2015 to 2022, and previously led the Fund Accounting and Risk, Performance and Client Reporting groups from 2007 to 2015, building expertise in complex fund structures, operational processes, and investment risk management.

Bettison holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, grounding his strategic approach to quantitative analysis and operations. His career is marked by significant achievements in scaling and optimizing investment operations, particularly within alternative asset classes such as healthcare private equity, structured capital markets, and hedge funds.
