Andrew ElBardissi, M.D., is a Partner at Deerfield Management in New York, where he leads the Medical Technologies team and plays a key role in portfolio oversight and private investment process oversight. He specializes in investments across the medical technology sector, including medical equipment, devices, and supplies, focusing on both growth-stage and innovative companies.

Before joining Deerfield in 2017, Dr. ElBardissi held principal roles at Longitude Capital, where he focused on medtech and biotechnology investments, and served as an Associate in J.P. Morgan’s healthcare investment banking practice. He currently sits on the boards of Medical Microinstruments, Inc. and Aurion Biotech, further emphasizing his expertise in advanced medical technology.

Dr. ElBardissi holds an M.D. from the Mayo Clinic, an M.P.H. in Quantitative Methods from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
