Jonathan Ramos is a Principal at Deerfield Management, where he serves on the External Operations team. Since joining the firm in 2017, he has taken on increasing responsibilities, and as Principal, he plays a key role in partnering with portfolio management teams to deliver operational support and enhance value creation across Deerfield’s investments. His primary focus is within the healthcare sector, collaborating closely with management teams in life sciences to optimize operational efficiency and reduce cost and timelines for portfolio companies.

Ramos brings a solid background in accounting, compliance, and operations, having previously served as an Operations Executive at Deerfield Management and as Director of Accounting and Compliance at LEO Pharma before joining the firm. His experience spans both private healthcare investments and operational strategy, equipping him with deep expertise in aligning operational practices with financial objectives within the healthcare and biotech landscapes.

He holds a Master of Science in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, both from Seton Hall University. Ramos is recognized for his contributions in bridging operations with investment outcomes and has been instrumental in supporting Deerfield's mission of advancing innovation in healthcare investments.
