Rebecca Benedict

Rebecca Benedict is a partner at Hudson Bay Capital Management LP in New York, where she serves as Director within the Investor Relations and Business Development group. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing global investor relationships across a diverse set of institutional groups such as foundations, endowments, public and corporate pensions, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and fund of funds. She leads the firm's Consultant Relations, driving strategic outreach and communication with investment consultants.

Rebecca specializes in the asset management sector, particularly focusing on alternative investment opportunities and catalyst-driven absolute return strategies. She has deep expertise working with global institutional investors, supporting the firm's activities in both traditional and non-traditional sources of alpha generation, mainly through multi-strategy and hedge fund products. Prior to her current role, she was an analyst in the direct investments team at Hudson Bay, gaining hands-on experience in fundamental analysis and direct asset management.

She received her BA in History from Barnard College, Columbia University, graduating summa cum laude and earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa.
