Victor Simonte

Victor Simonte is the Managing Director at Hudson Bay Capital Management LP, based in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he oversees investment strategies and portfolio management for one of the leading alternative investment firms in the United States. Victor’s expertise spans multiple asset classes including distressed assets, event-driven strategies, and alternative investments, with extensive experience in identifying non-traditional sources of alpha. Prior to joining Hudson Bay, he served as Managing Director at Centerbridge Partners, was a Partner at Strategic Value Partners LP, and held key investment positions at Angelo, Gordon & Co. and Morgens, Waterfall, Vintiadis & Co.

He holds an MBA in Finance and Management from Columbia Business School and a BS in Chemistry from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, credentials that have supported his reputation for rigorous analytical skills and strategic insight.
